    During 2022-23 financial year, 668 families were supported by Brisbane Zero services. Of those, 481 were sole parenting women with 889 children in their care. 69% of 150 surveyed women disclosed homelessness due to relationship breakdown, also another 69% have experienced violence.     Out of the 2,072 Individuals and 668 Families on the Know By-Name List, this data provides a snapshot of those who consented to be surveyed using the VI-SPDAT by participating Brisbane Zero Regional Members during the 2022-23 financial year. The VI-SPDAT is a screening tool used to identify the needs of a person or family with children experiencing homelessness. It helps match them with appropriate support services and housing options using a Housing First Framework.

    The Know By-Name List helps us to identify every person sleeping rough (on streets, in parks, tents, cars or temporary accommodation) in Brisbane. This list of people experiencing homelessness in our community is updated monthly, at minimum. Using information collected and shared with their consent, enables us to better match housing solutions and identify relevant supports, particularly for the most vulnerable. The following data represents individuals and families supported by the Brisbane Zero Collective who experienced homelessness during the 2022-23 financial year.

    This report presents analyses of tenancy sustainment and tenancy exit at Brisbane Common Ground (BCG). BCG is a model of permanent supportive housing (PSH). It aims to provide people with permanent exits from homelessness, as well as a source of affordable and long-term housing for people receiving low to moderate incomes.
